Gary Goyke has served as a government relations consultant since 1983, representing clients in their dealings with state and local governments. His intimate knowledge of the legislative process, his proven success in dealing with legislators, state agencies and the Governor on sensitive issues has led to many successful outcomes for his clients.
Gary also has worked with the Wisconsin Council of the Blind for more than 30 years, serving in capacities related to public relations, organizational development, association management, referendum coordination and capital campaign management.
From 1974 to 1983, Gary served as a state senator from the 19th district, covering Winnebago County and northern Fond du Lac County. He was the chair of several committees and subcommittees, including Education and State Institutions and Banking and Insurance.
Gary also has been a business owner, running a retail establishment called Moze’s Gourmet Specialities until 2000.
Among his numerous awards, Gary has won the Distinguished Service Award from the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators and the Legislator of the Year Award from three separate organizations.
A native of Oshkosh, Wis., Gary graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minn., with a B.S. in history and sociology. His son, Evan, is a current member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
